Manish Sisodia Arrested by CBI in Delhi Liquor Policy Case

Manish Sisodia, Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after being questioned for over nine hours regarding corruption allegations tied to the now-withdrawn Delhi liquor policy. Sisodia, along with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, with party leader Arvind Kejriwal calling the arrest a political move. The investigation, part of a wider probe into the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22, has sparked a political standoff between AAP and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with AAP accusing the BJP of targeting Sisodia due to his popularity and role in education reforms.
