Capt. Amarinder Singh was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Punjab at a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, where Governor V.P. Singh Badnore administered the oath of office and secrecy. Along with the CM, seven Cabinet Ministers and two Ministers of State also took their oaths.
Senior Congress leaders, including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, attended the ceremony.
