Visakhapatnam: Specials status is the right of AP people and it is
essential to make the state No 1 in the country, said YSRCP chief and
Leader of Opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
Speaking at 'Yuva Bheri' programme in the city today, Jagan called upon the youth to join the fight for special status.
Jagan accused the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of misleading people on the issue. He commended the students for attending the programme despite the hurdles created by the government.
Jagan said that BJP went back on its promise of 10-year special status to the state. He alleged that TDP voted in support of bifurcation of the state.
